Public liability insurance

Can anyone recommend a firm dealing with public liability insurance for deer stalking on private land?

Shooting organisations to start with, if you don't want to go down that route, NFU mutual would be worth contacting although I doubt it will be cheap, although it will be good insurance

For personal use the cheapest has to be through the benefit of membership of one of the shooting organisations like the NGO or BASC. Plus of course you will have all the other benefits and support of that organisation. Personally I believe that every shooter should be a member of at least one shooting organisation.
Commercial insurance will be much more costly.

Are you a member of the NRA/BASC/NGO/BDS etc as they all include personal cover.
If it’s on a commercial basis (clients/members etc) then not sure

NFU Mutual are wpnt provide PL cover unless you have other policies with them, such as house, vehicle or business cover

BASC membership comes with insurance you can rely on.

Sorry, you’re quite right. I’m using Country Cover now for personal and professional

I was with Country Cover, but once I drilled down into it for professional cover it wasn't for me.
Just like some of the shooting orgs, I describe their cover as 'woolly' when it comes down to 'financial gain', it's better to get a bespoke cover from the likes of Clivertons
