Pulsar C50

Hey guys. I know its complex and its nothing to do with scaled FFP reticles or PIP.
No change occurs with mag when you have it zeroed bang on centre at a distance.
Basically you have your POI aimed off target if its an inch high, increasing the zoom moves the POI further away from the point it is actually zeroed at (your rifle is not pointing at the target, it is pointing above the target).
If you already have your scope zoomed up whilst zeroing this does not show up as much as the POI moves closer to the crosshairs.
I'll leave it there, its a brainwrecker.

Regarding the C50 you are wrong me old fruit!!

Good morning, my C50 doesn't cause me POI problems, calibrated at 100 meters no problem Mounted on a Tikka 30.06 with Leupold QRW2 rings and used mainly for wild boar therefore night shots of a maximum of 150 m

Hi Boosh, it was always good advice with earlier optical glass to zero on full mag with a variable scope to lessen the possibility of POI change.
The C50 is obviously digital zoom and is not affected. In fact, in contrast to your post, for every doubling of the magnification, the X/Y coordinates/increments halve.
This facilitates finer zero adjustments but once zeroed at whatever range does not result in POI wander other than the usual/normal trajectory effect at different ranges.
