Do these need to be mounted further back towards the eye than a regular 30mm scope, in the same way that the Thermion scopes do i.e. much shorter eye relief? Wondering how well it will work with Optilock rings on a Sako 75.

If your fitting to a centrefire I would just use magnetic rubber eyecup, this keeps your eye relief the same throughout..

I would use high mounts due to the large lens size, just to be on the safe side.
