Pulsar Helion XP38

Hi everyone,

I'm seriously considering a venture into the world of thermal spotters. The pulsar helion xp38 keeps on coming up.

This is the old model and is considerably cheaper than the helion 2 (both compared new).

Is there any reason I should stretch my budget and go for the helion 2? I don't mind paying more for good kit. I just can't notice any difference between the two in specifications.

Your help is much appreciated.

Had the XP38 for a couple of years and think it is an ace bit of kit - with the firmware update on mine the picture quality was even better. The FOV for every type of ground is about as spot on as I think your going to get.

Used some Accolade 2s and must admit I can’t see any difference.
