Pulsar vs wraith

Just looking for opinions on c50 vs vs wraith 4k max I have the wraith 4k but was thinking of upgrading to the c50 is the much difference between the 2??

Because of it's 4k sensor the Wraith has a more detailed daylight image.
In every other way, the C50 is better.
Better dusk performance, better NV performance (the Wraith is NOT 4k in NV mode), better display, better build quality - and will maintain it's value better.

Cheers

Thank you nearly all night time foxing I do

How you got on one on top of two ?

It’s been a long day to be fare , we have another 2 weeks of lambing .
Today has been smashing crows and rooks , we have lost 5 lambs to corvids and 1 to a fox so far 😪
Every year I absolutely love lambing but It don’t half teach us some harsh lessons on just how harsh Mother Nature can be . You walk on the field to this poor bugger ..that had been wiped out by rooks .

I ended up with 48 rooks and a couple of carrion ( I had help for for a couple of hours while I went home for my dinner )

Had some great shots if I do say so myself haha shots between 150 - 320 m .

Here’s my new fav set up.

Thanks buddy , it’s a Tikka T3X action in . 223 Rem with a 24” 1-7 twist Bartlein Barrel throated for 75 grn Amax .
The bolt has been fettled with, Bix’n Andy trigger and a GRS bi-frost stock .
At the min it’s has a pulsar C50 on top but I also have a Kahles K525i for general use .
Built by dolphin rifles last year .

After asking the same question yesterday on the C50 thread, I paid attention to the time last night whilst sat out foxing whilst darkness fell behind my Wraith HD.
Idea was to check how long I could see comfortably through it as darkness fell in day mode.
At 10.25 pm last night I could still clearly see a roe doe in some cover just over 200 mtrs away in day mode without IR, I switched into night mode after that to check my IR was zero'd.
It was a clear night last night, I'd really like to see side by side footage of a C50 against a Wraith as darkness falls.👍

Can I just point out before the question is asked. No I was not shooting crows and rooks at 10 pm . The last flight into the fields was around 7.10 pm then finished the evening off with a bit of bunny sniping. 👍

What tripod & clamp is that mate?

It’s a REKON CT-1 carbon fibre Tripod with a REKON BH-1 ball head .

It’s got to one of the , if not the best “ gadgety “ thing I have ever bought. Don’t get me wrong there never going to be as steady as shooting off a bipod prone , but there not far off that’s for sure.
