Posted a thread a while ago about using a couple of ball lock pins to enable my Bushwear sticks to split into two walking poles. Much easier and safer when carrying a carcass out.
Cant say that I am a massive fan of these sticks, often preferring the ability to sit with the B&Q jobs.
In fact got hacked off with them the other evening when sitting in a hedge looking down into a nice safe bowl on the edge of woodland.
Having looked at the PH Jagt Rhino sticks sold by Corinium for £210. I decided to have a fettle before treating myself. I am tight and time in the shed always enjoyable.
Evil bay for ali tube and tube couplers £30 later the end result awaiting field trials.

Sorry about images, no idea how to rotate them.
