Has anyone used above software, and if so;
1) Is it worth the money
2) Does it cover European powders
Best Regards

Yes and yes. It is excellent. I use it a lot.

I think there are also some free programs which do a similar thing out there, but I can't remember the names. Someone will hopefully pop along soon and remind me.

Several powder manufacturers publish load data online. Vihtavouri is a commonly available powder in the U.K. and their load data website is a good guide to charge weights per projectile.

Of the downloadable programs, I have found GRT pretty easy to work with and, once again, a good starting point. You need to register an email address, but it is free. It runs under Windows or Linux.

Interesting that Gordons shows multiple curves on the single screen. I'll have to have a play!

The feature here renders the ladder of charges graphically. So once you have roughly found a the load you require, this can give an idea of how much wiggle room you have wrt pressures should you be contemplating a hotter charge.

To answer your question , Quickload covers most powders and bullets from both Europe and the states. I have used it for quite a while now and find that the information is sound. Thousands of loads for hundreds of calibres
