RANGER v HILUX v D-MAX

Had some emails from ISUZU main dealers and can get top of the range V-Cross with canopy and towbar for about £37000

I really like my D max, never had any issues with it.

The new one comes out in a few weeks and now had a rear diff lock may be worth looking at.

As for rangers went down the a63 outside york one day and counted 3 broken down at the side of the road, someone I know has had loads of problems with his aswell

Have a 2.8 Hilux on order , I’m told I should be able to have it sometime in March . BASC discount was 19% .
I had a 2012 Hilux 3L invincible with 125k miles with no problem, change to a Ford Ranger 3.2 Wildtrak in 2017 because of the Toyota 2.4 didn’t float my boat.
Ranger has given me no problems but Ford has decided that 2L is plenty enough so not for me.
Test drove a 2.8 Hilux and have to say seems to be a completely different animal than the 2.4.
Hope iv made the right decision.

Neither am I, but a £5K discount may see me join........For a while!

Also applicable to SACS and NFU members. I think Toyota call it the NFU discount. 5.5% APR up to 5 years as well.

It’s worth doing the sums though, if you don’t have much deposit, the 0% finance deal they have at the moment might well be a better deal on the full RRP than paying interest on a discounted truck.

Not new ones only dealers stock vehicles from last year so I’m led to know. I enquired about one for March and was told not being made

it seems in 2022 the new Amorok will have the base of the ranger and badged by VW. This is for emissions issues I believe

Love my 2017 Navara, especially the 360 camera.
It drives much more comfortably than other pickups.
Heavy on front pads though.
I had the crappy Renault battery die on me which was replaced under warranty.
The Nissan dealer in Ireland (Windsor) have been very good.
What sort of mileage are you up t.Mine started dropping into limp mode at 60,000 got to 150,000 couldn’t cure it

Just picked up a 2.8 Hilux today and am very impressed with it so far. As a working estate vehicle I can't see past Toyota - on my 4th one now. I've had recent models of Nissan, Isuzu and Mitsubishi too, and while they've all got their individual merits none of them touch the Toyota IMHO

Thanks I read no more until 2022 until they team up with Ford and you get a ranger for VW money

Thanks for all your input guys, have decided on Isuzu D-max V-Cross but will be sorry to see my hilux go
