Fallow for some unknown reason are very different to sedate when wound up
I’ve done lots of red no problem with them at all cows ect but fallow are a real head ache
With ref to dart guns you would be surprised how many vets have one I only know of one in GMP
They are sec 5 i jump through a lot of hoop to get mine

Usually if darted they can’t put them in the food chain I believe @Buchan may be able to confirm….and I’m not thinking it’s a standard thing to have around for the police.

Yes your correct they cannot go into the food chain .

They can go in the food chain, but only after a withdrawal period which is probably 28 days as I don't think anything is licensed for deer.
If its immobilon/etorphine, that's the big no.

It's quite difficult to get a darting licence!

Yes was always immobilon which was used by our vets .
And they couldn't go into the food chain afterwords .
Became estate pets . Only used for breeding stock afterwards.

The drugs I use mean they can go back into food chain
Yes it’s hard to get a dart license you really have to jump through hoops
