Read if you are using PayPal to buy/sell

PayPal does it to US sellers and customers also. Most here usually make it a "personal" transfer or give it a fuzzy name. like accessories, machined parts, or tools..
I stopped using them when they locked my account because someone who had previously lived at my address scammed some people, even though he had moved when I purchased the home 5 years prior. Me: Uh, he has a different account, he doesn't use this address, he lives in a different state, his name is different, the linked bank account is in a different name, I am not him .
PayPal: He used to live at that address so maybe you are involved. Bonkers. Imagine what they do to apartment dwellers.
They reinstated me, no apology. I won't use them.

My PayPal account was suspended after I bought some nosler bullets from a shop online and paid with PayPal because I was too lazy to input all my address and credit card details (for some reason, some shops make you type in your address details multiple times or set up accounts before you can complete a transaction, and PayPal often allows you to bypass this irritation)...

I think that gun shops should not offer PayPal as a payment option.

Unfortunately, for Paypal (or any other payment service like Visa or Mastercard) to process any payment you make or receive, you must agree to abide by their terms of service - over which you have no control or input
We have our gun loving US cousins to thank for this.

Cheers

Bruce
I'd blame mindless lefties more than gun loving americans . By the way , I use Paypal to buy firearms and ammo in Canada , not a problem . Maybe it's just on your side of the pond .

This is just big companies wanting to (1) protect their reputations and (2) not wanting to get dragged into lawsuits/prosecuted by being seen to ‘facilitate’ the purchase of whatever it is they’re windy about - usually firearms and bladed articles. Two items that we as a group legitimately use. As oppose to actually looking into the various laws they just put a blanket ban on it due to being lazy and the fact they make no money or little from it, so in their view why bother to get involved? Like I said earlier if you’re getting ‘uphill’ from whoever just cut them loose and don’t use them.

It always struck me as odd that you can buy and sell items on the US site, that you are not allowed to sell/buy on the UK site.
Sheer discrimination. and yet they allow so many fake items it's unbelievable.
Apparently you cant buy testicles on the Ebay site, as no one thinks they need them, they are so used to capitulating to the minority.
Freeads used to be a very good site for selling knives/guns etc,, but apparently someone complained and they banned all the ads.
Etsy still allow knives for sale, so it's not the Govt telling them to stop selling these things, it's their own doing.
I have sold a lot of stuff on Ebay over the last 20 years,, but just had an email from them telling me I cant sell any more Items, because I haven't registered my Bank details.
Suits me fine.
