Recommendations for loading software or app?

Folks, advice please
I'm looking for a load development app or software for my laptop (ideally) but would consider iPhone App
Preferably one which is readily available, simple to use, doesn't require purchase of a CD player (so NOT QuickLoad) to install - basically something which isn't a complete b@ll@che to download, access or use
And I'm after load development support, not a ballistics calculator

Had tried downloading that previously & was firewalled by my over zealous laptop's anti-virus - which, as is all too common for such banes of life, acts more like a virus than anything it allegedly protects me from
Your link worked though, and my AV just let me choose to ignore its warning for once - just wish it did that more often
