Recommended gear?

Hey all.
After a relatively long wait (Approx 9/10 months) in Surrey for my FAC, I got it, although has target stipulations only, will be opened up in the next few weeks (Apparently no closed licenses anymore, either target or open only).
However, in the meantime, at least I can start purchasing my rifle and things. (Or do I wait for the stalking show?)

Going for the Beretta BRX1. Used a range of different rifles, this has been my favourite. Will be getting .308.

Recommendation wise, need some help when it comes to the scope.
Been debating whether I go glass, or digital.
Either Vortex, or alpex.
Used Vortex for my binoculars. Tested their scopes when shooting down at Bisley. Used Swarovski when out stalking, etc, but feel Vortex is the best when it comes to decent mix of money vs quality.

Been weighing up pros/cons for glass or digital, but still debating.

Have decent land to stalk, with large amount of Roe, and fallow. Both woodland, and walked, plus some highseat stuff.
Have on my ticket for a 22 and 17 as well. Not sure if scope is easily interchangeable between them, allowing you to set profiles for zero for each rifle or not (Alpex wise).

Thoughts and recommendations appreciated.

Thanks, O

In answer to the above, the summary is digital.

Get one scope per rifle is plenty enough to remember then you change two kinds of ammo in one rifle and you may need to control the impact after change of rifle.

I'm guessing the digital stuff would be for night time flexibility? I've not played with current digital scopes but I'm very happy with traditional glass and chuck a Pard007s on the back, good out to 300-400m depending on your IR source and how many times do you shoot that distance of a night? Not often.

Vortex have the lifetime warranty which is always reassuring, but the Element optics range are good performers also.

If you've not used a Pard before then drop me a pm and we can arrange something for you to have a look through before shelling out the cash 👍🏻
