Is anybody using a red kettle bino harness.

Wondering if they are any good before I make a purchase?

Thanks

Will be purchasing one in next day or two....... I use a lockdown s4 which is a very good harness but looking at the redkettle one it may suit my needs a bit better. The lockdown isn't bulky and the redkettle doesn't look bulky either, alot of the other American ones etc look a bit bulkier which is why I'm opting to give the redkettle one a go..... and to be fair it does seem a tad cheaper than the others (apart from the decathlon one and the spika one).... ill bebusing my el 10x42 non rf binos in it so let's see....

I have one.

It is very well made, and it does the job. The company are excellent, and the customer service is absolutely outstanding.

However, it is very much an early prototype that has some issues that need ironing out - which I know they’re working on. Happy to discuss via PM if you’re interested - would be willing to let you borrow mine, if you wanted.

I would say it is the best of the domestically available kits, and will last a lifetime.

What binos have been using in yours?....

In my opinion I just go for a bushwear cheap harness works well not much protection but my binos are in my hands most of the time so I would find it a bit of a pain to keep putting cover over and I try go light as possible with kit I take out into the field thats my personal opinion but the product does look good

I’m in my third season with my red kettle harness. I use 10x42 Leica rangefinders which are a big heavy bino. I’ve got to say it’s been one of the best bits of kit I own, I’ve tried others and for simplicity ease of access and protection these are great, never get in the way when I’m gralloching or clambering through rhododendrons. Well worth a punt in my opinion

I have used one for about 2 years now and it’s out 2-3 times a week with me. Very hard wearing and nice and slim line to the chest so it doesn’t get caught up on stuff. I use it with a small pouch on the right hand side for my thermal and I use their Spartan bipod holder slung under the main compartment. Depending on where I am going and what time I also sometimes have a small torch and knife on there as well.
