Reloading records ?

I record all the hand loads I make in excel with date, component recipe, cbto & coal as well as data collected from firing such as group size, velocity, distance and conditions etc. I have a sheet for each rifle I load for as well as an inventory sheet so I have a live component stock level. All the reloading data I use is saved as a pdf hyperlinked into the sheets and I have records of distance to the lands for each rifle, measured case capacities and other useful information like that.

A creation to behold, but don’t have much of a social life…
Pretty much the same as you albeit without the hyperlink to the pdf. My late father started the excel in the early 90s and I've continued it, but with the addition of a bunch of pivots etc. Over 200 records now. I've spent half my life in excel at work so just about manage a social life too 😉
At my last renewal he mentioned not much ammo purchase onmy FAC, once I said I reload he was fine and moved on, didn't ask to see records

I’ll be requesting an increase in my .223 ammunition (doubling) as I now also have a dedicated target rifle for range work.. bulk brass processing and batching.

Thanks all, confirmed I don't need to be concerned
I keep my component receipts and record in my note book the rounds I reload.

Have no idea what this means, but as a man with mild OCD, feel I should be doing the same...😜
All it means is when I download a data sheet from the powder or bullet manufacturer I can link it to the relevant rifle page in my work book. Basically its lazy and saves me having to search for the data, its linked right there much the same as an internet link

Pivot tables and V look ups are well beyond my needs and means for this task but fair play

I have 22 firearms I have to justify, it's no harm what's so ever to keep my spent primers in a bottle on a shelf, I no its not needed but there no harm doing it just if they ever question the usage

Of course there is no harm in you collecting spent primers.

However, (at the risk of repeating myself), it only proves you have a collection of spent primers. It does not prove you have fired a single firearm once.

It is as 'worthless' as recording you use of firearms. Writing it down does not make it true.

FWIW (nothing).

I keep a Game Book - in that I record every outing I take with a rife or rod. It 'proves' nothing.

In relation to target shooting, the Clubs to which I belong record my visits. I have (in way too many years), never once been asked to 'prove' my use, of any of my (many) firearms.

are you constantly a troll ?

are you constantly a troll ?

It's a bigger crime feeding trolls.

FWIW, I keep records of how many rounds made, components used and tool & die settings. Original load work up information. I've never shown any of it to anyone but it helps me.
