Cannot aggree with this. The RAM stuff is mince. Stitching comes apart, buckles, buttons fall of and it weighs a ton when wet.

I have had a deerhunter ram jacket and trousers for about 4 years now, they have never leaked and are very warm, in fact that is my only complaint - i find them too hot for summer stalking.

Go for it if you want to spend best part of £400 on a Swazi which will wet you to the skin the first time you are out in a downpour.

ive been lent a nomad smock to take to arran this year, so will help a lot. ive been told by the owner of this that its never leaked but is a bit warm.. i think i may pass on the pro hunter trousers too and just got for some heavy cotton olives and some decent gaiters.. Hmmm
