Hi folks,
Please bear with me on this. It might be what counts as a silly question!
I have a Brno ZKK-601 .243. This is fitted with a Hilver mount and rings, and so there isn’t any adjustment for the positioning of the rings.
To get (almost) comfortable positioning of the scope I need to wedge the rear ring right up against the turret, but even then it is a little too far forward.
All the scopes I have are about 6” between the turret mound and the rear lens. It seems that the way to sort this (without cutting the stock) would be to get a scope which is longer at the rear to have more adjustment. Is it just a coincidence that all my scopes are the same or are there some with different dimensions?
Currently it has a Nikki Stirling Gameking 6-24x50 AO, and it seems a perfectly reasonable scope for a target as big as a roe, so something similar would be good.
