How do you know that roadkill has not had a massive injection from a vet to put it down?
A dose of barbiturates with your loin tartare doesn’t seem a good gamble for meat that is pretty much available at no cost nowadays.

A friend saw the accident, the deer expired without further help after the van hit it.
