Roe Deer Spleen

I shot this buck last night and its spleen looked more shrivelled and lumpy than normal, however all lymph nodes looked fine and was acting normally before the shot.

AI says its common and nothing to worry about, but thought I would check here just to be safe.

VI (Veterinary Intelligence) feels it is within normal limits, but it's one where I would be even more particular in checking the rest of the carcass.

I didn’t notice anything on the mesenterics when I checked them. So not sure where the lump you have spotted is attached.

Looks like a fatty cyst.
