This is the same deer taken over 2 different days 1 in the morning the other the afternoon.
Fat as butter.
We shot one from this ground before this was taken and she was a large single mature doe, who's kidneys were hardly visible among layers of fat.
Aren't they amazing creatures.
Have a look at the 2 bucks, 1 has alot of promise as he has a few weeks of growing to do yet.

a nice productive week on the does, you're like a deer stalkers pigeon magnet... you just keep on bringing them in!!:-D
 
I was that knackered I had to lie down, mountain goat John carrying the roe sack straight up the side of a hill about 1 in 3 whilst I made my way round back up the long less steep way, and yes he was carrying my rifle as well, he used to work for the "AA" a very nice man indeed.

What I want to know is how does he take photos of himself????

John dose regional mean its only seen in your area or they have it up here with a scotish accent. ;) I hope its good let the one that dont get it know if its on the net anywere.
 
Season going well march going quick.
though after 8th march i will no longer shoot mature does, only yearlings or barren does.
