Thats the skull dried out and have taken a picture of it unmounted as i'm still looking for a good dark wood shield to put it on.
I think it looks quite good, i have noticed that the skull joint up towards the antlers is still a little bit yellow.
What do you guys think??
Yep tried to order some from them but you put your details into the webpage and they are supposed to call you back for payment??

You will also find that when the animal is first shot that if you get into the practice of shoving a hose into it's oesophagas then that will wash out its nasal cavity of any blood and reduce that staining you can see on the skull
I use to boil mine in the kitchen,it made the whole house stink, the mrs would go ballistic ,haven't done one for years now,got a malformed hanging in a tree, haven't been back to check it for ages,it should be clean now.
I did think about using the cooker in the kitchen but decided to use the camping stove outside
I even bought a new "boiling pot" from ASDA instead of using 1 of the good ones out of the cupboard
Burco boiler is ideal but expensive, old tea urn does the job fine get them in different sizes and don't cost much s/h
get them in either gas or electric.
Yep have had a look on ebay and they seem to be cheap enough - but i don't intend to do loads of heads so i'll stick with the pot and camping stove.
Looking to get 3 bucks with the AW for my level 2 so i can mount the heads on the wall with the certificate (hopefully) but i'm nearly there!!
