They are excellent powders.........I've been using RS since TR140 first appeared in the UK........that was great in the 308, until RS52 arrived...
Nothing to beat RS52 in 308 with a long barrel and 155grain bullets...

I knew about the rl17 rs60.

I believe Laurie have written about it on multiple occasions

On this do we know what other powders RS supply to Alliant? I think RS 80 might = RL 33. Not sure on any others though. Would love to have RL 26 back, rumer that it’s made by RS too

RS60 is by far one of the best powders on the market (It IS RL17)`

In real terms unless you are bench rest or shooting beyond 7-800m any MV variance is likely to be less than your ability to make a wind call between a 10-15mph gusting wind
If your Winter load is over pressure in Summer then it was too hot anyway........

It meters in throwers better than most
Produces better velocity at lower pressures (you will get more MV before hitting pressure signs)
Is clean burning
Is readily available

Use it and stop overthinking it
