Rural Oscars

Just thought I'd give this thread a cheeky bump!
Voting closes on the 23rd.
Thank you all for your support so far - it really is appreciated!

Completely out of the blue I received a letter this morning from a Welsh politician (Plaid Cymru) congratulating us on having got to this stage, and pledging his support, which was rather nice.

We were nominated for the Scotland area for this category a year or two ago, sadly didn’t win, but were invited to a swanky rooftop drinks reception in Edinburgh…. Was a great evening.

All the best with it Tim, you’ve been voted for. :)

Well, we were at the Senedd in Cardiff on Tuesday for the award ceremony.
Came 2nd in our category, which was pretty good going I think, as we were up against some pretty strong competition.
Got to meet lots of really inspiring small rural business owners, and picked up some useful tips.
Thanks to the Countryside Alliance for making it happen, Welsh Government for hosting the event, and of course you guys who voted for us!
