Safety glasses

Evening folks stock question regarding eyewear, what EN166/170 rating of Ansi Z87 rating are folks using, as it's indoor target and we currently use the range supplied ones.

As we are only just beginning the journey into shooting I'm reluctant to spend daft money as initial outlay for 4 is a bit of a wehey moment, yes I get that eye protection is a must but doubt the club provides EN166A or Ansi Z87+ so wondering if anyone is using or indeed started out with En166F or Ansi Z87.1

Any info or links would be great

I think 166A only applies to face shields rather than glasses?

Buy some work-type ones would be my suggestion, mine are Dewalt or Stanley or something. A couple of steps up in comfort/fit from the cheapest ones, but still only about a tenner

Look at Bolle safety glasses on Amazon or Ebay. There are plenty of options clear and tinted below a tenner.

Honestly don't worry about it. En166f is enough, focus on comfort and optical clarity as that will stop you from being tempted to remove them.

I've bought from here before, good service and decent prices although I was buying in bulk so not sure what postage is like.

As long as they are polycarbonate they should be perfectly adequate.
