Salmond v Sturgeon

Oddly enough, just this morning, helping my daughter with some home schooling,
One of the questions was on comparisons between Scotland and France, one of the first questions - “who is the leader of Scotland”.....my daughter had googled (which they are supposed to do and most will do) and got Nicola Sturgeon, I asked her to correct it and enter Boris Johnson with an explanation that Boris looks after the whole U.K. and all powers, not just devolved powers....seems petty but brain washing youngsters with “Nicola is our leader” and putting it in the curriculum sounds just like an underhand SNP scheme!
This is the latest effort to curry favour with the kids.

If the super-injunctions protecting la Sturgeon and her French female lover were lifted and the business of her husband and his male squeeze living together were published
What is the point in a super-injunction if lots of people are openly talking about this already? I know that politicians all/mostly lie without batting an eye, but if one is lying about the fundamental principle of their home-life (i.e. their sexuality and who they live with) it makes you wonder what else they are lying about.

A penguin is driving his car through Arizona on a hot summer’s day when he notices his oil light is on. He gets out of the car and, sure enough, it’s leaking oil all over the road. The penguin drives around the corner to a service station and asks the mechanic to take a look at it. The mechanic says he has a few others to look at first but if he comes back in an hour he can tell the penguin what is wrong with his car. The penguin agrees and goes for a walk. He finds an ice cream shop and thinks a big bowl of vanilla ice cream will really hit the spot since

He’s a penguin and its Arizona in the summer, after all.

He sits down at the counter and starts in on his ice cream. Of course he has no hands so it is rather messy. By the time he is done he has ice cream all over his flippers and his mouth is a total mess. He walks back to the service station and says to the mechanic, "Did you find out what is wrong with my car?" The mechanic replies, "It looks like you’ve blown a seal." "No no," says the penguin. "It’s just ice cream."

Shetland, Orkney and Aberdeenshire are toying with that idea already. Shetland and Orkney in particular want no part of Sturgeon's vision of independence.

I can vouch for that, my wife is a Shetlander, her and her family certainly echo the above.

Time and again when I have been North in the last fifteen years I have heard people say at Community, District and Regional levels that Holyrood is taking all powers to itself. They want devolution to Holyrood but not below that level.

And this is the nub of the whole problem with Sturgeon and the SNP - they have taken the North Korean approach. All decision making is by the supreme leader, all councils have had their budgets reduced or frozen (in real terms) so that Krankie can control the, same goes for the NHS - budgets have been reduced for years in real terms and all decisions have to be ok'd by Sturgeon (or Freeman, once she's ok'd it with the supreme leader), same with police. On top of all this are the useless civil servants who gave up trying to challenge the SNP years ago. Added to that we have the compliant press who gave up any idea of independent views years ago as well.
The earlier comment about 1930's Germany just fits in with my own thought as well, lots of flag waving, re-writing school history/syllabus, pick on an easy target (Westminster/England), control the press/media, burning books (oops sorry, haven't reached there yet....). The sooner this rabble is booted out the better and maybe then Krankie can be honest about her life:norty:

But there is a singular and uncomfortable question to be asked and at a time when Sturgeon's popularity has never been higher:

Does the Scottish electorate give a damn about what I shall refer to as her alleged indiscretions?

I think enough do where the matter of independence may be concerned, but as for Follyrood - well, we won’t have too long to find out. One thing is sure, the diehards will be voting for her as if their (Westminster funded) handouts and benefits depend on it.

Gosh - a whiff of scandal about wee Jimmie! Surely not, I mean who would?????
Do allege more - we don’t get the Hollyrood gossip over here - probably that damned Irish Sea hard, soft border.
