I’ve been trying to reduce the roe doe population on a permission I have but unlike previous seasons I’ve really struggled one day could be ten or twelve in one field the next evening get set up waiting for dusk then nothing,while out one evening on the south side of the permissions I had three roe in front of me then ten more shot through taken the three with them ,so this evening camped out in the tree line waiting for dusk then I heard a car door and a dog barking by this time it was getting pretty dark so walked back to my truck left the rifle and walked back at that point I spotted a person walking across my permission with two grey hounds .I gave him a quick oi then he turned round headed back to his car I recorded this on the hic micro spotter ,I managed to cut him off in the gate hole got his reg number he claimed he was walking his dogs all seems fishy to me hopefully he won’t be back
