Savage model 12

I have a savage model 12 with an internal box magazine. I would like to upgrade my stock to a mdt oryx chassis. The orxy uses aics magazines. Would I be able to remove the internal box magazine from the rifle and fit the new chassis and use the magazines or it this more complicated issue to get around.

My savage 12 LRP went into an ACC ok, but it had the 3 round detachable magazine already.
I would assume yours would be ok but honestly I would just contact MDT, they’re very helpful
