It sounds like he has been lying waiting for the right moment, He's been a member for 4yrs but only 1 post, Goodluck Artur and I hope you get your money back and I hope he gets what he deserves
Hope the op gets his money back.

Might have just got access to an old sd members email account and taken it from there. Could easily be an old sd member that just signed up and didn’t use their account, rather than setting up 4 years ago and waiting to ambush. Who knows.

But having had my email account compromised many years ago at uni, the first thing the scammers did was sell loads of Italian woman’s knee high purple boots through my eBay account after getting access from my emails. (Obviously a fraud, purple is not my colour!) Once you are penetrated, they shaft you hard!

Any update on this Artur? Every time we have had a deal it’s been straightforward and pleasant, really sorry to read this has happened.

We have warned members before about paying for any item, without checking first.

If a member has only one post, or sends you a PM regarding selling an item they have, please IGNORE it. They cannot offer for sale any item unless they have 30 constructive posts, and have been a member for at least 30 days.
Even then, it pays to check them out before sending ANY money. The vast majority on here are honest people, however as the site continues to grow we will get the odd scammer getting through.
We keep a close eye on new people, or those acting in a suspicious manner, but we are not responsible for anyone sending money to purchase items. Please make sure they are genuine by following admins advice.

No good news at this moment, I've reported fraud to my bank but their procedures take a long time. This funny cheater sent me message about 2 weeks ago that refund is on the way to my account what never happened.

I've reported my case to Police in UK but no answer yet.
Today I've got answer from my bank:

,,Regretfully, the bank we have contacted about the matter, was not able to reverse the payment at their end or return the money back to your account. Due to this, it is with regret that I must inform you that it is not possible to return your funds in the total amount of 900.00 GBP.''

So scammer like Tom Russell feels untouchable criminal

If the payment was made from one UK bank account to another a UK bank account via the 'faster payment system' or CHAPS.

First raise a complaint with your bank who should investigate, if they don't give an adequate response and refund, then you should be able to raise the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman service.

See APP ‘Authorised Push Payment’ scam where you are tricked into sending money to a fraudster posing as a genuine payee.

FCA information here.

PSR information here.

Financial Ombudsman information here.

That’s a nightmare, really feel for you mate
Hope you get it sorted and get all your money back

And people like this just make it hard for a genuine seller to sell items as people think they are going to get scammed

Hi Artur

Sad to read of your difficulty - hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction by whatever process/system soon.
