Evening all, so iv just bought the above scope, and not yet fitted it to my rifle as just waiting scope rings,
turrets look a bit starange to me, book that come with them doesnt give much of a description on how to zero/move them,
as in the window in them, it says the black dot should be under the M for middle, the vertical turret is so im going to leave that, the horizontal one is not in the middle, when i click it on it doesnt seem to change, so been looking for info on them but cant find F all, for all i know its on paper and close to where it need to be, so there will be no problem, i just wanted more of an understanding of it,

Many thanks.

Lee

I wouldn't worry about it, to be honest? A couple of mine have that and I just zero as usual, put the caps back on, and forget I ever saw it. 'H' is up, 'T' is down, and each click is 1cm at 100m, that's all I've ever bothered myself with 👍

I think it's something to do with some mysterious 'zero stop', or something like that? I've never let it bother me though. 'Zero, go stalking, don't f*ck with it' has been a philosophy that's served me well over the years 😆

The Klassik turret adjustment gives you a quick visual reference of the reticle position. Due to the black dot position indicator you can easily read its position. Before zeroing the riflescope on the rifle, you can check at a glance to ensure that the black dot is located under the letter M (for Midpoint/Middle). This ensures an uniformly large adjustment range in both directions for zeroing. The point of impact is moved by 1cm on 100 m on every click which is represented by the markings, of which every 5th mark is a bit bigger for better orientation. A too low point of impact (POI) is corrected by rotating the elevation turret clockwise towards the letter H (stands for UP). If the POI is too high the turret has to be turned towards letter T (stands for DOWN). This simple and accurate system has been proven by a lot of users around the world for years.
