A few questions about S&L rifles...
Are there any stock options for Schultz & Larsen rifles that aren't wood? I'm not interested in ruining a nice bit of timber, but from what i've seen of the rifles and actions, they do appeal.
How do people find them? I don't think i've seen a second hand one for sale which says something.
Given it's a switch-barrel system, is the action length the same for every cartridge? I assume so.
Does the 'Tactical' action option take the sporter-weight barrels? Presumably there must be stock options for this - i can't see any online.

). I coughed for Grade 4 wood, and the finish is superb (and very tough). There was an absolutely stunning Grade 5 stock, but it doubled the price of the rifle!
