Scope mounting solution for Sauer 100 Pantera

My friend has acquired a new Sauer and a 30mm scope.....he was asking for advice about scope rings/bases/rails....

It will be for stalking and staying on the rifle

I know plenty about tikka and cz solutions but, apart from a cursory Google search, wasn't sure about Sauer?

Does anybody have recommendations of what is working well for them?

And whilst on the subject has anyone had success putting copper through one in 243?
