Scope on a £1000 budget

Shout out to Optics Warehouse! The Delta has arrived less than 24hrs after ordering!!!

First impressions are very very good! Bright and crisp at all magnification ranges. Looking forward to testing it at last light later on.

Feeling like a kid at Christmas I have cancelled my plans on Saturday morning to get it zeroed. Wind and rain please stay away!!! 🤞🏼

RRP price. Who pays that?

I would need to check to be certain on the add-on, but then again I just sold my Pard 007 so may take a while 🤔
If you can find me an Amplus 6 2.5-15x56 for £1000 please let me know as I would like to buy. Toby had a batch in recently at that price but that was a one off and won’t be repeated. They vary now between £1250 and £1450 depending where you shop.

100% works with a pard though.

Stalking and a foxing rifle for use with a rear add on so it has to be variable and have parallax adjustment.
Not really into it TBF i have used straight NV and thermals in a couple of types , i used to do a massive amount of foxing and rabbiting with a light but it doesn't greatly interest me now. Fox pelts are worthless and there few to none farms in the North West who would pay any bounty , more likely they might ask for a fee themselves to let you on LOL = stuff that !
I bet very few foxes have any great amount of lamp shy now as so few use it now . having worked with thermal spotter then switch to light in the highlands it never seemed to be an issue .

I have a 6-24 ×50 swarovski PV and 8 x 56 schmidt bender.
The schmidt bender is marginally better low light
Swarovski is more practical through the day , neither illuminates...less to go wrong.
I did have a 4-16 x 50 schmidt bender , which was really good but decided higher magnification was better for me....you pays your money...
German Schott Glass for me though ...

Neither of which are suitable for the OP’s requirement of a rear add on NV.

Great you went for a Delta. I have one of the first that came into UK. I also have a Diavari. Optics are nigh on identical to my old eyes. Delta on .243 Diavari on .204 for daytime use only.
D

I use a S&B PM2 and Arken EP5 both with the pard007s and IR laser both crystal clear and see out to ranges beyond I'd ever shoot at
