Hi all, I recently purchased a new rifle wich came with some scope rails already attached - the retailer was a bit short on stock so I purchased a set of Nikko Sterling mounts as that's what they had in stock - bit of a mistake!
I'll save you from the pathetic story of the scope falling from the rifle, not once but twice - especially as I'm fairly sure there was a healthy dose of operator error involved, but suffice to say I wasn't impressed!
So, I just bought myself a set of Leopold rals and mounts and fitted them and the scope to the rifle - and since this is the first time I've used them can say that they were a doddle to fit and they seem very secure and stable on the rifle - I've shot with it a couple of times since I fitted them and all is now fine!
