Complicated question, but without the facts here goes.
It depends on what the length of the inner and outer ring spacing is. Then the unrestricted tube length, and what the eye relief is on the 'scope you're considering.
As you've got the rings you're half way there. Most scope makers publish the other technical specs for all their models.
These are one-inch diameter Leupold models fitted to Tikka M65 LHs in .308 & 7mm Mag , both of which have a very long action length (71mm). As the pic shows, different mounts are fitted. The top scope is a variable with a power ring, the lower one on on the Mag is a 6x42. Fixed power scopes have a much longer eye relief.
I picked a Leupold 6x42 with a maximum of 5" eye clearance to cope with the recoil from the Mag.
