I thought that ,originally, items 1-5 were for a raffle and if you made a donation you were entered into the raffle automatically, IIRC it was 6 chances for £10. Is this not happening anymore or what?

Unfortunately Brian is currently indisposed, and i am simply posting the bids from an organisational perspective.

However from my recollection a decision was made early in the process to offer all the bids by auction, as a raffle would be not only difficult to arrange and to monitor, but if we are trying to raise funds for Leigh, would be potentially unfair and inequitable.
Many SD friends have made donations already as well as making generous bids for the excellent lots available.

If you are still unhappy then perhaps you could PM me or Brian to resolve the issue.

For such a good cause I believe we should all count our blessings and help whenever and wherever we can.

I am not long home from hospital. , Leigh took a prolonged seizure last night and was admitted to hospital , I don't know if I will be online at midnight tomorrow so I have asked Fraser to run things
