Got back home at midnight yesterday after a 14 hour drive. Good to hear everyone enjoyed themselves. Finnish group took some nice trophy Sika heads over the last week.

On the Fallow from Wednesday with more overseas clients so will make sure I find the time to read the posts more thoroughly later on.

Glad everyone got home ok.I will be forming a syndicate for the hinds this winter on the lease, so nayone interested PM me.

The first time I was up there I shot a Red hind and calf where you are looking on the hillside, then got a chap a Sika pricket down in the valley.
Every time I go up there I always see deer, but they are so switched on you have to be quick to take your chances.
Beautiful place to be, even in the rain. Are the midges still about John ?

Robin, I was just up where it flattens out near the soft bit, I was going to go right over the back but it was so nice and the stags were roaring so I just parked up in the bracken beside track and watched the world go by. There was a stag holding hinds on the hill on the other side of the river and he was having a lot to say for himself, and getting a fair bit in return. No midgie bites mates, there were some little midge like things that liked to come and investigate but they were the toothless variety :-D. Shame it was not so nice when the lads were up.
