I took this seat down from it's 6 year position for a move to a new bit of ground also gave the base a clean and paint. With it being a 30 min drive I wanted to work out a place where I could cover a good area from it. This spot I have shot the most from on foot but the late nights are fast disappearing also a clock change coming up.
2.5mm box and painted has stood up well but it is not light so the 250 yard no drive position would have meant 3 trips as I took a graft just in case the ground needed a tickle as nothing worse than a wonky high seat, one round trip saved the leg work.
Moved it fwd about 2ft with the the ground spikes going in and the front leg flat with no rocking.
Time will tell.
