Wanted: Seeland Decoy High Seat Rail:

A request for assistance please:

Our syndicate have a Seeland Decoy folding metal high seat .

The rail (where you rest your rifle) has rusted though to the size of 50p coin. Tbe rest of the chair is in good order.

It seems a pity to condemn the seat because of the rust on the rail.

Seeland can’t help with replacement parts (but were helpful and replied quickly).

Does anyone know where I could source a replacement before I take it to a metal fabricator and ask them to copy the old one.

Thanks in advance.

Photo below annotated in yellow.

Get one fabbed up and double the gauge, you don't need a radius a 45 will do.

Ahhh…I see what you mean.
For a fab shop to put the rad in then it is a pain, to cut the angles on a chop saw is a piece of cake...
just basic metal work and a mig.
Or a 90 is even easier, 2mm box will last out the seat bit of plumbers insulation for the birds to pick at lol

Thanks to you all. I’m going to see if the Bushwear part fits and if not get it sleeved as per Tim’s post at a local fabricator.

In the end the Bushwear Panther seat spare was a perfect fit….likely made in the same Chinese factory. Thanks to all.
