Sounds interestingJonestown, Waco, Harry Krishna, Isis, Jesus & a certain Middle Eastern State among many, they are all pretty satanic. If you ever get the chance watch Martha Marcy May Marlene
Yes, but they are not treated as adults until over the age of 17. At 15 the brain isn't fully developed and susceptible to outside influence and grooming.
What I am saying is she was a kid when she made the decision. She may be a fully fledged s4ithouse deserving of everything she gets, or she may be somone who was influenced at a vulnerable age by an organisation which has specialised in influencing young Muslims into buying into their particular brutal belief system.
I don't pretend to know, but I think she should have the chance to defend or explain her actions and be judged accordingly by the qualified and informed.
Well hopefully she gets a fair trial in Rojova the self governing Kurdish region she is detained in.A right she is on record as not believing other people should have. Sue made a conscious and informed choice to reject your values and live in a society with no human rights. Therefore she has none.We can only judge people in the jurisdictions they fall under. She is not a Brotish citizen. What you or I may think she deserves is inconsequential, because those values don't apply in the world she chose.
Unlikely. They don't have the death penalty there.Well hopefully she gets a fair trial in Rojova the self governing Kurdish region she is detained in.
I would imagine anyone who commits atrocities would be keen to avoid justice. Islamic State was founded on terror, the same as another State in that region, both of them founded on some antiquated religious obsession, but no ones even allowed to mention the other one. Religion & politics, its an evil mix.As always with Islamists, they're very keen to make martyrs of other people and even keener to avoid justice themselves.
No but no doubt there is a FLD somewhere that might! To put it another way, would you grant her a firearm certificate ?
Why aren't we allowed to mention Iran?I would imagine anyone who commits atrocities would be keen to avoid justice. Yes she should have the right to be judged in the country of her crimes. Not here, why should she be treated any differently to any of the other foreign fighters that travelled to inflict hate and abuse on innocent people ?Yes, but they are not treated as adults until over the age of 17. Interesting. There's been posts on here before by people who've had very regrettable pasts and, having turned their lives around, were now looking to get a FAC / SGC and take up shooting. They've generally received helpful and supportive advice from site members. And, unlike you, very few people sign in using their real names, do they? Just sayin'.No but no doubt there is a FLD somewhere that might!
Iran is a country, I was talking about states. Why aren't we allowed to mention Iran?
Probably in some far off land far away, will be interesting to see if she is allowed back into uk as could be harnessed as a symbol of anti terror, do the circuit giving talks, write the book and even stand as mp. Play her cards right, you never know.No but no doubt there is a FLD somewhere that might!
Fine by me if thrown to the wolves in the morning, but does make me wonder what apart from what we know what has the silly moo, actually done?Yes she should have the right to be judged in the country of her crimes. Not here, why should she be treated any differently to any of the other foreign fighters that travelled to inflict hate and abuse on innocent people ?
This whole event is a non story, the girl at 15 knew right from wrong, executed quite a difficult plan to get herself out of the country and would appear to be complicit in some horrific ill doing. Because the Caliphate collapsed is no justification for forgiveness without justice.
