Shooting bag filler

The pink or blue false stones or "gravel" sold by aquarium shops. But the best by far is plastic granules that any factory that extrudes plastic will sell you.

Glass crumb is pretty good or Celtic Precision have just started providing a new thing they call Dragons Eggs (yes strong Welsh theme) that look really light and could be very good.
Failing that recycled glass bead on eBay

Polypropylene pellets are the best fill as slightly cheaper than Airsoft BBs.

I luckily scored a 25kg sack on eBay locally for £25 a few years ago and still have loads left after filling numerous shooting bags.

I've tried sand, too heavy, grains end up getting damp or eaten by mice. Dried chickpeas were quite effective but same problems as grains and rice.

I used Asda Smart Litter Wood Pellet Litter. Been in my bag for years and not had any issues with it. I bit on the heavy side but not as heavy as sand. But it needs to have a bit of weight in it to do its job.

Suggest to your missus that you change your pillows.
After a day or two she will think that it was her idea!
