Don't know the poster or the ground, the poster did request no disappointed posts, and we should respect that
all discussions should have been with the landowner in private.
But now that it's been brought out in open form I suppose it will do no harm to put in my penny worth.
While at first the price seems high for the acreage you are getting quite a bit for your money, the poster did say for 1,2or 3 guns so £ 400 each you get Roe stalking a medal buck would cost you more than £400 the possibility of a Red
a representative stag will cost around the £400 mark , rough shooting is now around £150 per day the poster did say pheasants would be restricted, not that no pheasants could be shot, what the restrictions are is something a prospective tenant would need to discuss with the owner, duck and goose fighting £60/£80 per flight, pigeon flighting what cost per gun?
No hares or rabbits that is a little unusual especially the rabbits as most farmers want rid, again something to discuss in private with owner.
Someone mentioned the lack of salmon in the Forth now again don't know the area, but you only need to look at the number caught on Stirling town water to know there certainly is salmon in the Forth.
What price do you put on it don't how productive that stretch is but prices of £100 plus per rod a day at peak times
would not by considered excessive.
So all things considered it does not seem a bad deal
