Good luck finding a poison. Proofing the roof to roosting or nesting would be the best option

Poison isn’t my thing so know sod all about it ?

It would kill them, but hopefully who ever let them have access would be fined a small fortune and banned from using poison or the general license

Got asked by farmer to clear out a few barns and sheds of pigeons, at the minute I have nothing that wont make a bollox of the roofs.
Is there any 410 round that will kill the pigeon but just ping off the roof? If so will grab myself a hushpower and stock up on said round.

Or is a variable power air rifle a better option for this kind of work.

There was a discussion last year here as regards what is allowed under general licences for feral pigeons so do make sure you read the relevant one for your country.

The likes of a S510 can be adjusted down to around 12-14ft/lb and would be fine for the job.

I have a AA 510 FAC they can be adjusted from 8-28 Ft/Lb

I shoot three farms with pigeons in the sheds.
I use a pcp 177 air rifle running at 10.1 lb. its deadly and quiet. I take a mate who uses a springer, I shoot more, quicker and less disturbance.
Can't feed on the floor as to much equipment.
