I haven't watched the debate, just read the press release, is there a list of MP's who attended so I can do the same
Im sure there will be - may just take a little digging to find it

especially as it looks like few of the MPs present were labour MPsYou do realise that this was not a legislative process and apart from raising the profile of the issue, will have no bearing on any subsequent debate in the House?
That BASC headline is a little misleading.
I believe there was some positive comments from a small Labour contingent. Frankly, I think that the less interest Labour MPs take in these matters, the better.especially as it looks like few of the MPs present were labour MPs

Sooner Labour are removed from office the better, they have only ever attacked the rural community’s with a vengeance whenever they have had power. It’s all they ever do, tax the f out of you, tax the sh*t out of farmers or introduce unworkable legislation and then they always attack the shooting worldpoint being labour have a majority and they will do as the Chief Whip tells them.
thats fabulous news , they are allowed pistols in the EUIt looks like you are going to harmonise with the EU firearms direct, specifically the definition of a firearm.

And for what ? What is this desperation to attack shooters ? Shooters are the most law abiding people
Frankly I think it’s well past time the shooting community and farmers showed the government the finger and protested there outrageous attitude to all things rural.
Nothing but ourselves to blame imo, we hide in the woodwork to not upset anyone but we still get politically motivated attacks that’s all this is. It does nothing to improve safety, does nothing to improve anything it’s just another barrier to ownership and restricts it more and for what ?
How many got killed by reckless drivers last year or by knives ? Bet it’s more than any lawful gun for the last 40 years
fear not they will only harmonise the bits they like.thats fabulous news , they are allowed pistols in the EU

And my biggest question I have for all of this regardless of party’s etc is why is there this desperation to take away firearms out of lawful hands when to own one you need to be and keep being lawfuli was being facetious
make no mistake the governments end goal (particularly the left leaning commies) is to end civilian firearms ownership and the sooner we wake up and realise that the better !
Also that more people were killed with white goods and step ladders than with legal firearms.apparently far more killed by fireworks each year than the average over many years of 3.8 by legally owned firearms.

It’s a fkn joke
it's easier for them rather than admit that it's their poor execution of the current rules that has lead to the issues we've seen , in many of the shooting incidents we see the perpetrator should not have had guns and only did due to a failure to enforce the current laws at the time
Wasn’t it the Conservative Government under John Major that brought the ban on Handguns in 1997, and in the 1980’s under Mrs T the ban on Semi auto rifles post Hungerford. In 2019, previous Government, also Conservative brought in the offensive weapons act which brought in lots of controls on carrying of knives?Sooner Labour are removed from office the better, they have only ever attacked the rural community’s with a vengeance whenever they have had power. yes i believe you are right , i think 22lr pistols were exempt but blair banned those as well when he got in as i think he got in at the change overWasn’t it the Conservative Government under John Major that brought the ban on Handguns in 1997, and in the 1980’s under Mrs T the ban on Semi auto rifles post Hungerford. It was the Tories closed the railway station in my village under the Beeching Plan and the Tories, Thatcher, who privatised the buses so now we've one bus an hour where before Thatcher we had three and none on Sundays or bank holidays. So they may pose as such but they are just as tin eared to real rural needs as any other party when in office.Sooner Labour are removed from office the better, they have only ever attacked the rural community’s with a vengeance whenever they have had power
