Shoulder bumping FFS

i use a the mix of lanolin and whatever else it is, off Dr strange love, brass in a bag, couple of pumps, id like to think its not to much, but i will try doing it a different way as to not get any on the shoulder,
original set up of the redding die was touch shell holder, back off 1/4 turn, iv heard of cam over but have no knowledge of it to be honest, im mindful of the pressure i use i do try for the same every time, but then im thinking if its set correctly then it should preform the same every time.
and i anneal my brass after every firing, 👍
Forster say back off the die 1 turn on initial set up. My Co-ax just stops dead, there is no 'over cam'. That way it's solid the only thing that can move is the die when you adjust it.
Iv also had problems in the past with my expander mandrel lengthening my brass OAL.
So it was suggested to skim the expander ball down a bit and then finish off with the mandrel. Which worked. And if it would have been the expander ball pulling my brass. Would t that make it longer not shorter??
Simple answer is take off the expander ball and buy an expander die with correct sized mandrel. You won't look back.

i have a mandrel set, but with no expander ball it was stretching my brass about 0.005" tried lubing the brass, and mandrel, nothing worked, my mate said to trim expander ball by 2-3 thou so it was upening it up a bit, then the mandrel would finish it off, which it did, but id still rather have the expander ball out,
may have to did my co ax instructions out, i maybe just went off the redding die instructions,

Expander mandrels don't have an expander ball, they're designed to replace that. If your expander mandrel is stretching brass then it's a) the wrong size. or b) You're not using dry graphite lube in the neck (as stated above) .
There is a Forster video on You Tube that clearly shows how to set up your die.

i wrote that wrong, obviously my expander mandrel doesnt have an expander ball  i ment the die, and that i also have a expander mandrel, its the APW mandrel, 2 sized per calibre, both were stretching my brass, i used imperial dry media, made no difference,

just read the info that came with the press, screw down till it touched shell holder,

i just tried another case and it bumped it from 1.624" to 1.618", so i thought i will re set it again for the 4th time tonight, and begger me if finished the tray off of about 30 cases nearly to perfection,
i was all set to come on and say problem solved, even thought iv no idea how it was solved, then i had another tray so thought id do them as well, on the first tray i was actually using Hornady one shot lube as i was just testing a couple to start with to make sure they were right, so ended up spraying the first lot individually, second lot i used my lanolin mix, first 6 started at 1.624" and all ended up at 1.618". talk about outrageous behaviour.
