Shout out to Uttings!

Hi,
Few months ago I bought a budget Hawke scope to try with a back add on.
3 weeks ago something wasn’t working right, the elevation wouldn’t change.
No receipt so looked through some online bank statements and found something I couldn’t identify from Uttings and the price was around what I’d payed for the scope. £99 ish.
Sent it off to Uttings with screen shot of bank figures.
I had bought something else and not a scope so I asked Uttings to bin it.
They said they would return it to Hawke but usually nothing would be done without receipt, which I didn’t have.
Off it went and was inspected and found to be over adjusted!
Hawke put it right and returned it to Uttings who returned it to me today.
I offered to pay all costs incurred but Uttings didn‘t ask for any money whatsoever.
Absolutely brilliant service.
A very big thanks to Uttings and Hawke.

I had similar experience with Uttings, i needed an item urgently and they did a Saturday delivery for me at no extra charge.

My only gripe with them is that you can no longer call and speak with someone, all comunication is via email.
 
Completely agree - fab company to buy from and has been consistently so for many years, for me. My first port of call and invariably I don’t need to go anywhere else. I can live with t’internet - when it works.
