Going to load some of the above to try out with Vit N140 any advice regarding a starting load and max,was thinking of starting at 42.0 grains

You will probably get your best groups at the 42 grain area. Are you familiar with step loading?

When I lived in Europe and had access to Vihtavuori powders I used N140 under the Sierra 165gr HPBT. Always shot around .25MOA at 100m off the bench with my Sako 85 Hunter with a 570mm, 1:11" barrel. My load was 43.9gr, Norma brass and CCI200 primers. Used them for wild boar, fallow and moose.

Cheers

I've got these Sierra heads and I use N540 at 41gr. Certainly got some go to them and nice and accurate through a TAC A1

Bullets, did you mean @Caesium ?

I put your load into GRT and am slightly confused .. the max pressure was well below PMax-25% @ 43100psi and the bullets MV was around 2490fps and only a 92% powder burn ?
What made you settle on this load ?

Never used that tool, I use what gets me the most accurate grouping at my range. I'm not that far into my reloading journey to be as scientific as using a tool, I only use the bullet manufacturers load data.

My RFD recommended the powder as I couldn't get N140
