As @scotch_egg says I have used the .300 WSM for a number of years over two different barrels.

I’ve never run 180 TTSX, but have used the 185 Berger Juggernauts, 150 TSX, 150 TTSX, 175 LRX and now have moved to the 148 TLR from Yew Tree.

I have personally used two powders to great effect - RS60 and RL26, with the former being good for the lighter end, and the latter being good for heavier. I have never tried any Vhit Powders in this calibre.

With these bullets/powders I achieved (27” barrel):

175 LRX (RL26) - 3124 FPS
148 TLR (RS60) - 3434 FPS

With these bullets/powders I achieved (23.7” barrel):

150 TTSX (RS60) - 3350 FPS
150 TSX (RS60) - 3150ish FPS (light load)
185 Juggernaut (RL26) - 3150ish FPS

I can dig out exact load data for any of these if you like, just send me a PM.

Personally drop to a 150 TTSX and send them fast, they’re like Thor's hammer on deer over 2400 FPS terminal velocity (circa 350-400m at good MV ) in my experience. If you’re shootings generally beyond 300M then the 148 TLR is a better choice and is again like Thors hammer on deer.

I homeload 180 grain Barnes TSX in a 300 Winmag.
Whilst not quite the same cartridge, velocities as above and very accurate.
PM me if you want further details.
