Sightron?

I'm thinking of getting one of the small-ish sightron scopes, it's the 2-10x32. Anyone had experience of this scope, or the brand in general?

I have an STAC 3-16x42 and i've been so impressed with all features that i will be getting another one for a different rifle. Very good for the money. Only thing i dont like is the little flip up chuck thingy on the mag knob that is meant to assist gloved usage in cold weather. Dont see the point really but it doesnt actually get in the way.

In terms of lens quality, tracking, light transmission and overall build quality, it seems a bargain to me for the money. You can get better for lots more money but for me, not enough increase in performance to warrant the massive extra spend.

Harry Mac.

I have two Sightrons for long range targets. Excellent quality and price. John Dean of Aim Sports is a good guy to deal with if you ever get a problem.

I use a Sightron S11 6x42 fixed scope on both my .243W deer rifle and Air Rifle (Air Arms S400 Carbine) and both do the job just fine, hold their zero, and are multi-coated, waterproof and gas-filled.
The 'fixed' S11 hunting scopes are not produced anymore (Just a 3-9x42 in the S11 series now) it was one of their more basic lines, but if I could get hold of another one or two, or the fixed 4x32, I would buy them immediately based on my experience with them.
The current S1 hunting series also looks good - it ticks all the required boxes: Multi-coated, gas-filled, waterproof, affordable.
Buy direct from the USA online (Pay by Credit Card) and you'll get a better deal than here in the UK, and it is likely to arrive quicker as well.

Optics Warehouse have got a big selection on the shelf. I have just bought an S-Tac 2.5-17.5 x 56 and I cannot tell the difference between it and my Swarovski Z6i

I just had another look at their range. For example look at the S1 Hunter, 1.75-4 x 32 , fully multi-coated, fog-proof, water-proof, nitrogen gas charged, shock-proof, LIFETIME WARRANTY! New £150. Yes, £150... I believe that will do the job just fine for driven wild boar/deer, or on a .22Lr used for plinking and vermin at 40-60 Yards, or on a Scout rifle.

another big thumbs up from me , lovely glass , i have the 2.5-17x56 and the 10 x 42 really can't fault them
