Siting of gun safe

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any good resources for the regulations/recommendations on the siting of a gun safe?

Ive had a look through the following handbook:

But not sure if its the most up to date info or if theres something a little more digestible to look at?

Just put it in a sensible place, securely fixed to the fabric of the building, easily accessible by yourself but suitably screened from casual observers.

nice, probably overthinking it as i didnt realise the place i had in mind was a stud wall so got got have a rethink.

I believe this is the up-to-date guidelines and it's easy to follow. Parts 1 and 2 and Annex C are the bits that apply to private ownership
