The SLH knife , Its always been my personal choice ( though the muntjac model seems to have cut into its spot during testing ) Still i rate the SLH as my most " all rounder " on deer , especially if i am de-legging or de-heading as its got a slightly longer edge and thicker stock .
This one here is yet to be sheathed -up so at the moment so any buyer can make their own choice what material or design.
Tip to handle 4" and total length 8" . It has quite a chunky rear to the handle then slims down to a waist before flaring out at the front end of the handle . This makes it ideal for sticking but also very nice in the hand skinning back around the udders or along the side of the pizzle . Centre point making it perform like a dagger on the bleed
AEB-L stainless , Liquid nitrogen quench ( while still in the vacuum furnace )
Oiled walnut handle with single front pin and lanyard tube in brass
3 mm thick G10 liners
Full polish to the blade ( mirror finish )
