Sling recommendations???

I’m sick of my rifle slipping off my shoulder 😂
What would you recommend as the ‘least slippy’ sling?
Must be standard sling type configuration rather than having extra straps etc
Thanks for any recommendations
Mike

Quake Claw sling is the best you can have. On my Kammo Zodiak coat there is a capston type stud on the R shoulder designed to stop the sling sliding off. I have sown a large spare button on the R shoulder of my Army MPT and DPM jackets. This fix works v well.

The standard Claw is quite bulky. I use the Contour version which is excellent. Ant Supplies normally hold stock and are well priced compared with most.

Might help to rule out ones you’ve already tried and taken dislike to Mike?
I’ve got a quake and it took a bit of getting used to but works, also have a niggeloh kicking about going spare if you’ve not tried one?

This 'Allen" sling has the rubber dimples. Bought it to provide a non slip hold on the shoulder and it does exactly that 👌

I've just bought a harkila moose hunter sling which basically doubles up as either a harness over both shoulders or they link together as a conventional sling.
Carry a top heavy rifle on large open farmland is now a breeze but additionally carrying in woodland you can have it over one shoulder for quick deployment.

Good luck with your choice.

Just started wearing my Kammo Winchester(been hung up since I bought it several years ago) and that has the same, on a reinforced right shoulder. A large button was the traditional way!

The best one I have ever had is the Mjoelner which I bought at the stalking show two years ago, so good I bought another at this years show, they dont slip at all, they were sold by Best fox call Ltd from Hereford.
